Walking Trail Wendy
Walking Trail Wendy is a friendly and lovable bundle of joy! She hasn’t met a creature, human or animal, that she doesn’t want to play with, including the African Grey parrot who has nibbled on more than one occasion on her face through the bars of the cage. Wendy has been with us since September 25th, arriving from Louisiana after collapsing from the heat on a walking trail. She is very unspoiled and has learned to play by herself when she can’t get us to toss a ball for her. And in traditional young puppy spirit, she is adapting quickly to this sweet life. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate with no accidents and performs immediately when taken outside to do her business. Although she’s still young, she has a voracious appetite and now weighs 27 pounds. We don’t know how large she will be when grown, or anything about her parents but her feet are not very big so she may be a medium large sized dog. She is an extremely intelligent puppy who seems to enjoy figuring out the rules of play with the humans. Besides her intelligence, her most endearing quality is her sweet affectionate disposition displayed by her tail which wags non-stop and her kind kisses when cradled like a baby. She will be a great addition to some lucky family.
