Hallie is sweet, affectionate, and energetic pup. She loves to climb into laps and jump up to give kisses. After that, she just wants to cuddle and look into your eyes until you both get a good dose of the love hormone oxytocin. When she isn’t giving kisses or looking for cuddles, she likes rough housing with her brothers and following my dog around the house and imitating him. I wish I’d had my camera to videotape her this morning when she looked at Charlie surveying the neighborhood, took up the same position and then looked at him to make sure she had it right. So sweet!!! She loves the neighborhood kids who have stopped by to say hi. She was very gentle taking kibble from a 3-year-old and had fun playing tug with a 7-year-old. Given her age, she is just beginning to learn the best places to sleep (the dog bed or the crate) and where to got to the bathroom. She already knows her name and we are working on some basic commands like sit and touch. She is catching on quickly proving she is a smart little cookie. She is too young to sleep through the night, but she is content to entertain herself and let you sleep.
