Conway Alvin
This active puppy came to AFH with 4 sisters! His sisters have all found their forever home, but Alvin knows his will be here soon ( although Santa didn’t bring him a home for Christman/Channukah). : (
They came to AFH from the rural spaces of Mississippi where their mother was hit and killed by a car. A concerned citizen called one of our rescue partners and these orphans were saved. Alvin’s personality is still developing. He has lots of energy when out of his kenneled space and does do a “zoom”. If you don’t know what that means you are in for a wonderful surprise!
He got along well with his four sisters, and wants to play with his foster brothers and cats, but neither is too keen to play with a puppy. You can see him in action in the video. He does have quiet moments when his foster holds him and pets him. He will lick her face, but you will have to be careful, as with puppies this can turn into a chance to bite, as well.
Puppies have a desire to chew, so be certain all valued toys are out of reach, and shoes placed behind a closet door. He especially likes to carry dog toys and shoes around when he’s running.
