Kolette’s Sunny and Moon were found huddled together on the side of the road in rural Louisiana. The day before they were rescued, several people had noticed them but thought they were dead. They would have been had a young girl not stopped to check on them. Moon had been shot in the head with a BB. The Vet estimated the BB had probably been there for 2 weeks. She was given a shot of antibiotics and the wound was cleaned out. The BB was just below the surface. Both pups were starving and infested with fleas. They have now been eating well and were treated for fleas. They still have a little dry skin because of the flea infestation.
