Sophie was originally purchased from a backyard breeder and was kept in a rabbit cage by the breeder. Sophie’s owner has Alzheimer's and can no longer care for her. She made the difficult choice to turn Sophie over to AFH so we can find her a forever home. Sophie is crate trained, leash trained, and mostly house trained. She is good with people. She has had limited exposure to other dogs but did fine with the ones she has met. There is a neighbor’s cat who comes to visit at her door, and while they have not met face to face, she wags her tail.
