Salem is a playful, sweet Shar Pei- Retriever mix puppy who was rescued from a hoarder. She gets along well with active children (10 and 14). She enjoys squeaky toys and chasing her foster sibling – a five year old shepherd mix. She has a good appetite and is generally very calm when she’s not playing. Salem has a nice coat and an adorable corkscrew tail that wags frequently. She will happily give you kisses and loves to play when you sit on the floor near her. She will also sweetly curl up at your feet and doze when playtime is over. A scratch under the chin and belly rubs are a favorite treat for Salem. She’s a wonderful guest and her housebreaking and crate training are progressing well. She is up to date on her shots and ready to find her forever home.
