Maxi is a sweet lab mix that came to us from a shelter in North Carolina which was shutdown due to the poor conditions for the dogs in their care.  She was severely undernourished and very pregnant.  She had four adorable puppies that have now all been adopted.    With lots of good quality food and care, she has now put on a few pounds and is looking more like the beautiful dog she is, instead of the skeleton that she was.  Maxi has a loving disposition to all she meets.  She even likes cats.  She will make a wonderful family member to the forever home that is lucky enough to adopt her.  She is now ready for a new home.
