Pistachio is a sweet shih tzu who recently came to A Forever Home from an unfortunate environment, but with his positive personality and playfulness you would never be the wiser. He loves to play, chew on hooves, play with his pup brother and sister, and has no problem hanging out in his crate quietly. Pistachio also has a very cute quirk where he will stick out his tongue a bit of the time.
He originally came to us with what appeared to be months worth of neglect from a puppy mill and in a terribly unclean state, but after several long baths he's looking as handsome as ever. He still needs some training on the leash but is picking it up very quickly, he mostly just doesn't like stairs. He also is mostly potty trained, but will mark his territory because he is not yet fixed. Other than some basic training, Pistachio is ready to snuggle up with you.
