Maggie the Setter

Maggie is a sweet snuggle bug and wants a family to love! She was surrendered by her previous owners because they didn't have time or funds to care for her. Amelia was previously an outdoor only dog but is adjusting to indoor life incredibly well. She has had no accidents, sleeps quietly in her crate, walks well on a leash, and isn't bothered by the sounds and smells when walked around DC. She wags her tail at everyone she meets and does well with other dogs. She has not been tested with cats. She is playful outside but also settles down well inside and just wants to be sitting by your side. Maggie is a truly special dog who would make a wonderful addition to a loving family.
