Brady (Coco Butter)
Brady was returned to the rescue due to issues surrounding fear aggression. He was living in a home in a busy neighborhood with two children and lots of their friends coming and going. Unfortunately, Brady was not given the training or tools to cope with this situation and he began to feel a great deal of stress. Without knowing any other ways to cope with his stress, he became very shy and fearful of strangers.
We have been working with him extensively to build his self-esteem. At this point, Brady walks well on a leash, knows basic commands and gets along with other dogs. He is still hesitant with those he doesn’t know and may always need a little extra reassurance in the form of rules and structure so that he knows his humans will take care of any situation and he need not be stressed and worried.
We recommend that Brady go into a home with older children (teenagers) or no children due to his past history. If you are looking for a loyal companion and have a quiet household, Brady may be your ideal dog. Please let us know if you would like to meet him.
