Greetings, my name is Dudley. I know you want to know more about me before you decide that you cannot live without me. My earlier years are a mystery. I came to AFH from a shelter. I have a strong affinity to my humans, especially woman. I have warmed up to my foster dad now but it took me a little longer, about a month. I am a great companion as I am always watching for where you are, follow close behind, and love to snuggle and get belly rubs. I am small (12lbs), so you will not hurt yourself picking me up, although I prefer to stand on my own 4 paws. I am already housebroken and crate trained. I don't really require lots of exercise. I am more than happy with 3-4 potty breaks a day. I snuggle quietly on my bed in my crate while my person's away and show no separation anxiety. I don't bark and rarely make a noise. I do whimper in the car but if you give me time I do settle down. I can snuggle in bed at night or sleep on my own dog bed on the floor. I am small so in the cold months I like to snuggle with blankets and need to go out with a jacket. I am a very laid back guy and get along with every dog my foster has ever seen me with. My foster sister is 80lbs and we do just fine. I am also pretty tolerrant of kids but really young quick ones make me nervous. I should only go to a home with kids over eight. I would be the perfect fur buddy for someone ready for a mature easy going dog. I am good with cats. I will not chase them and I just avoid unfriendly ones. I am up to date on my vaccinations and have been neutered. That's about it. So, what's not to like? Sadly, I have been over looked because of my age. Age is just a number right?! I know there is someone out there who wants the rest of my life to be the best in can be. You had better come to see me before I am snatched up.
