Cricket

Hi! I'm Cricke. I'm a spunky little girl!!  I am really quite a fun little dog and have a lot of personality.  I like playing with my toys and snuggling up on laps to be pet, but I am only starting to learn how to walk on a leash.  I can be a bit shy when meeting new people, especially if I am on a leash or around too many people, but once I am inside and loose I make everyone my best friend in a matter of minutes.  I am currently being fostered with Susie the poodle mix and we get along well together.  My foster mom hasn't seen me around kids, but expects I would do fine as long as we were properly introduced.  I am at the adoption events almost every Sunday, but because there is a lot going on I can get a bit nervous there.  If you are interested in making me a part of your family, I can meet you outside of the adoption events so you can really see my silly willy personality.

Cricket is a  Yorkie/Norwich Terrier mix.  She is a bit overweight and will do best with a family that will continue to help her lose weight and then maintain a healthy weight going forward.  Because she is overweight now, she has a few minor medical issues, but the vet was confident these would all be resolved once she reached a healthy weight.
