The Ten was a litter of 10 sisters rescued from a family who were going to “get rid” of them because they had chewed the air conditioner wires. They were gathered up and placed in the back of a pick-up. Their next trip would have ended up down a dirt road, thrown out and left to fend for themselves had they not been rescued by a nice lady. Their rescuer discovered that these poor babies had fire ant bites all over their bellies. She took all 10 puppies home and treated them for worms, ant bites, ticks/fleas and gave puppies their first shot. They were flown to AFH another rescuer and are now safe and ready to find their forever homes!
