Ok, admit it...If I mention the words 'Jack Russell mix' most people assume that means a super high energy, up for anything little dog. Well, meet Jackie! She's up for anything but she's truly almost mellow. Twelve months old, spayed, white with red markings, barely ten pounds and sweet as can be. She's great on a leash, crate trained and was clearly housebroken although a few weeks at the shelter have set that back a tad. Jackie understands sit, can walk on her back legs and seems to be extremely bright. But she definitely does not have the hyper activity of the typical Jack. She's calm in the house, loves to have a Nyla bone to chew on or a lap to sit in. And she is calm in the fenced in yard as well, spends her time exploring or catching some rays. All in all, so far she's been the perfect houseguest! She spent time yesterday with several teenagers and did not display any nervousness from being handled, rather she absorbed every bit of attention and came back for more.
