Dinah is a Dear Dachshund. She is probably the happiest dog that this foster has had the pleasure to know! Her tail is always wagging, whether it is going on a walk or car ride, meeting new people or dogs, waiting for her meals, or just hanging out! Her true personality has emerged now that she is no longer taking care of her puppies. Dinah loves to play fetch, sit for a treat, and follow her foster mom and dogs around the house. She is very cooperative with grooming, bathing, and nail trimming. One of her particularly endearing qualities is when she feels the urge to perform the Dachshund Dash. It starts with a game of fetch, then suddenly she will run straight across the fenced yard as fast as her short legs will take her, then she-ll do a sudden u-turn, wait for her back half to change direction, then she's off again! The pure joy on her face and the flapping of her ears is a true sight to behold! Dinah will stay in the crate for only short periods of time (e.g. during meals), but is housebroken and is free to roam the house. Lady Di has fully recovered from her spay surgery, is fully vetted, and ready to find her forever home!
