My name is Chico and the last few weeks have been scary for me. My sister, Snuggles, and I took a long ride in van and ended up living with a new family. I was nervous the first day I was at the new house and hid under the table, but in the evening, I jumped in my foster mom's lap and have never been so happy in my life --she spent the next hour rubbing my belly and scratching the back of my ears - it felt sooo good! My foster mom says I am a sweetie who is very affectionate. She says that I get nervous when the house gets loud or I see a stranger. I love running around the yard with my sister and have been having a ball chasing my foster mom's cat. My foster mom says this is not good, but I cannot help myself, it is so much fun! Please come met me at the Petco on Sunday! Update: Foster mom comments: In the last few weeks, Chico has warmed up nicely to our home. He is an extremely affectionate dog that LOVEs to snuggle on your lap as often as possible. He has funny habit of always wanting to carry a stuffed animal around with him. He has searched our house and found stuffed animals that I did not know we had, and will at all times keep the stuff animals close by or snuggle with them. He has become much more confident over the last week and is not as scared of all the activity as the first few days. He gets along very well with other dogs, but still loves chasing our cat. He has a very sweet and warm personality.
