Beagle Mix

Truman is a super sweet pup and very unique. He is a beagle mix, but according to his coloring he would be a blue-tick beagle. The name refers to his coloring. Most beagles are tri-colored, but there is no brown anywhere on him. He is currently 15 pounds and will probably weigh around 35-40 pounds full grown. Only he and 1 of his litter mates (Monroe) have the unique coloring. His temperament is very curious and intelligent. He has lots of energy and loves to run around in the yard chasing my kids, the other puppies, or the water coming out of the spinning water sprinkler. He is doing very well with crate training, going potty outside and sitting for treats. He has a great appetite and demonstrates that he loves to be around kids, other dogs and people. He doesn't like to be left alone, and prefers to be where he can see everyone. He has not shown any signs of the beagle howl, but does occasionally bark when playing to challenge the other player to chase him. When he is all tuckered out, there is nothing he likes better than to curl up next to you and catch a little nap. His litter mates Reagan, Monroe, Nixon and Theo have been adopted.
