Gertie, a red and white adult (3 yr old) female, has gone through many transitions during the past few months. This cute girl used to be an outside dog and ended up having puppies. She was sent to the pound, where BROOD found her and took over her care. Gertie is a sweet girl who loves people and is good with other dogs for the most part but does not like cats. She is energetic, well behaved, fun and would also like to be a lap dog. She is skittish and seems to be aware of every noise around her. Her new home will have to be patient with her until she builds up her confidence. She has been blossoming and trying to come out of her shell. She seems to want to cuddle, but is sometimes to shy to approach. While Gertie likes some dogs, she seems to be selective on who her friends will be, so she would do best as a one-only dog. Spayed and UTD on Shots/HW.
