Cocker Spaniel Mix
If you are looking for that "First Family Pet" or a "Second Dog" to join the pack, then look no further than Tyson. He is already housebroken and crate-trained and is not food aggressive at all; you can 'pet' him while he eats and even take his bowl away. Tyson has also become very familiar with the commands: Come, No, and Off. Tyson gets along very well with all of the other dogs at our AFH events, in his foster Mom's home, and in his foster's neighborhood. One very big plus for Tyson...he is very gentle with small children, especially for his size. Right now his only known vice is...pulling on the leash at the beginning of a walk (or at our events), but he is quick to correct with a couple of quick jerks of the leash. He is just so excited to go on a walk he forgets that we are at the other end of the leash; and therefore, he pulls. Tyson's first favorite thing to do is; "Go to the Dog Park." If you mention "Dog Park," he is the first to jump up, head for the door and be ready to go. Tyson's biggest desire is to find someone who has the time to love him and give him the attention he so rightly deserves. He is such a gentleman; as he stands very quietly and lets absolutely everyone pet him. Tyson is a very affectionate dog and is always looking for someone to rub him behind his ears, down the bridge of his nose, or on his belly. Tyson has a favorite chew toy, a big old hard plastic bone that he carries to the couch and chews until he has settled down. He is also very generous to share this big old bone with his foster brother and sister (another big plus for Tyson). Then he will curl up and nap while the rest of the family either watches some TV or reads a good book. Tyson has had all his shots and has been neutered. Tyson is more than ready for his new forever family to adopt him and take him to his new forever home today!
