Doberman Pinscher / Mastiff Mix

Winnie is an English Mastiff/Doberman cross. She is affectionate and is leash trained. Winnie was given up when her owner developed cancer. She recently arrived at AFH and it only took her about 15 minutes to settle in, relax, and take to playing with her foster mom's dogs. It's not necessarily surprising that she's well socialized given how many dogs she lived with at her former home, but she's a very good girl. She gets the cutest "play with me!" stance, and loves to run - chase and be chased! She's extremely fond of an old plush chicken toy from Target, and carries it just about everywhere with her. She is very good with kids, but because of her size and energy level, she would do best with older children. She is not good with cats or small animals. She seems to be very well housebroken, and she sleeps through the night in her crate just fine. She doesn't really bark much, and so far only outside if there's another dog walking by. All around, she's a pretty sweet, calm, friendly girl! And so pretty! She really is a gorgeous dog and will make a wonderful addition to anyone's home!
