Hi! I'm Carlos. I am a Feist mix puppy. What?! You've never heard of that breed? Well, most people haven't, but I don't take it too personally. Feists are known as above-ground hunters and a treeing type dog. We like to chase our prey (usually squirrels) up a tree and keep it cornered until our human comes over and tells us what a good job we did chasing the squirrel. But don't think I am only good for hunting. I will make an excellent companion dog too. I will most likely be small to medium size (depending on your definition). On average, Feists range in size from about 15 to 30 lbs and 12 to 18 inches tall, but I don't know what I am mixed with, sorry. Currently, I am approximately 7 lbs. I was very scared when I got to my foster parents' house and wouldn't come out of my crate. But then I realized that there was all this food and water, a clean climate-controlled environment, towels to snuggle in, and TOYS! I even have a separate potty area! Now I think my foster parents are the best and look forward to getting attention from them every day. If you think you'd like to be my real permanent family, please contact my foster mom.
