Gem is the definition of puppy love! A confident and happy girl, Gem welcomes everyone (young, old, male or female) and every dog she meets. She loves to play with her dog friends, Emerald and foster brother, rolling around or chasing a ball. She is quickly learning to do her business outdoors, and is mostly paper trained in the house. When the playing is done, she will snuggle into a warm lap or available neck for a nap. She enjoys her food and is quite tidy in her enclosure. She'll go easily into a crate with her friend for a sleep. She loves a good chew but is easily diverted to a rubber toy or dental bone. She has a shiny sleek black coat with a beautiful white blaze on her chest, and white paws. It is hard not to fall in love with this very adaptable, beautiful dog.
