My name is Stowdy and I'm a shepherd mix with short, soft tan hair and an adorable face (according to my foster mom). Although I arrived a little on the thin side and quite shy around people, I'm doing really well putting on weight and get along great with my foster dog sisters, the kids in my family and my foster mom. Speaking of my foster mom, she says I'm really loving, easy and friendly once I get over my shyness. I not a barker and have never growled at anyone or anything, although if my sister dogs bark, I'll join in. I'm crate trained so well, my foster mom never shuts the crate door - I like to go in my crate to sleep and stay there until my foster says it's time to go out, eat or play. I'm house trained and love to wander around a fenced yard or just bask in the afternoon sun on the back deck. When my foster mom rubs me under my chin or on my chest, I wag my tail... I can't wait to meet you at our next adoption event.
