What a beautiful, sweet dog Sadie is! Hidden under the layers of fear based on the neglect she experienced was a puppy just waiting to come alive--and alive she is! She loves to play tug, to snuggle on her foster's lap (it's a sixty-pound lapful, that's for sure!), and to enjoy life as a part of a real family. She's fully housetrained, crate-trained, and has great leash manners. She does wonderfully on her walks, as she has learned how to ignore other people and dogs and just focus on her "leader." She is still somewhat nervous when rapid movement occurs around her indoors, but she has no aggression--just some fear barking and backing away. Right now she's ready for a family with older children, particularly if they are experienced dog owners. We are working with Barkbusters to make her comfortable in all situations, and she is making great progress. (Her Barkbusters Lifetime training contract transfers with her.) She's ready to transfer her trust and confidence to her forever leader--can that be you?
