Meet Tye. This lovely little guy was found tied to a tree and then eventually turned over to a shelter. We think Tye is probably around 4 years old as his teeth are in excellent condition. He probably weighs around 25lbs and is at his ideal weight. He is energetic and playful and is truly a wonderful dog whose soul shines through in his beautiful eyes. Tye knows numerous commands (sit, down, come, off, etc.) and catches on to games and new commands very quickly. He thoroughly enjoys a good game of tug and fetch, especially with soft toys. He is completely house trained and is crate trained. We think he would do well in a home with another easy going dog or as the only dog. He does fine with cats. A home with older, or no children would be best (he is not aggressive but he does get a little rough in play and this may be too much for kids). Tye would be ideal for someone seeking an athletic companion. Since he is not a purebred Pug, he can tolerate more exercise and would enjoy it. He can be a little vocal in the crate at times so this should be taken in to consideration for apartment/condo residents. A home with a fenced yard is preferable. When you spend time with this little guy, you cannot help but feel he has so much to say. That perhaps life hasn't always been the greatest but that he is so eager to build a strong, lasting bond with someone new.
