Hi There, My name is Champ. I am between 2 and 7 years old, housetrained, and smart as a whip! I love everyone--kids, dogs, and especially socks. I'm really good at training you to keep your socks off the floor because I will grab them and run outside with them. I know how to use a doggie door and walk on a leash without too much pulling (a seven year old boy could walk me), but I am really hoping to find a loving family who will play with me and take me to training classes and teach me to sit, stay or even do agility. That would be a blast! I came from a person who had so many dogs, I wasn't getting enough attention or basic care. I'd love a family with kids and a dog to play with so I don't get bored or lonely, and with a securely fenced yard so I won't wander. I don't bark much, but I will bark a bit to protect my family and let you know when visitors arrive. I will guard my family so squirrels and other small furry animals better stay away. I don't know about cats, but I bet most cats could whup me. I am a poodle, so I won't shed much but I will need to have a haircut at least every other month. You can see I'm not groomed frou-frou-ish and you can keep me that way, or you can give me any haircut you want, I will still love you!
