Jack Russell Terrier / Beagle Mix

Hi! My name is Sweety and it is a very fitting name for me, because I am such a little sweetie. The people here at AFH think I might be a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle mix. I weigh about 22 pounds and stand almost as high as a small beagle. My foster mom thinks I might have a bit of Chihuahua because even though I have energy at times it isn't excessive as you would see with most terriers and beagles, and I am actually more calm. My favorite thing to do is cuddle next to my foster mom, sit on her lap, and most of all get a loving pet. If she ignores my attempts to get on her lap I will eventually lay at or her feet. My next favorite thing is to run and play at the park. I am good with other dogs if introduced and am very good with people. I also really loooove playing with kids, though my foster mom thinks I would do best with children older than 5 as I sometimes forget that I cannot play with my teeth, but stop immediately with one reminding. My foster mom praises me all the time when my foster kitties walk by me because I am so good with them and at times completely ignore them. I'm pretty sure I will do okay in apartments as I can be pretty calm indoors and although I do bark occasionally when someone walks by a window I am not excessive about it. I am house trained and, although my foster mom is not quite sure what my signal is, I hold it until I'm let out. I have a tendency to tug when I'm being walked, what can I say.... I'm just so eager to see all the activities! However I do try to remember there is a limit. I will be pretty easy to train as I always want to please you and have you say what a good girl I am.
