Hi Carmen, it's getting close to a year since we've adopted Truman (one of First Lady's pups), and we can't thank A Forever Home enough for bringing him into our lives. It is amazing how much positive energy a dog can bring to a household! Truman has been a welcome addition to our whole community. There are many children in our DC neighborhood who have had only negative experiences with dogs, and Truman is helping them learn about how to act around animals, and how good animals CAN be. We're also starting him in training to become a therapy dog for local hospitals. He's brought so much joy into our lives, we can't help but share it, and he loves the attention! I've sent a few photos of our distinguished gentleman around DC--we actually used these pictures for part of the centerpieces for the tables at our wedding. They were a huge hit!
