Maya is super sweet, highly intelligent and obedient, and she loves to sit in your arms like a baby and have her belly rubbed. She is very anxious around other dogs and needs you to give her commands to stay calm. She can also get anxious around other people, unless they are very calm where she will come right up to them and enjoy them. She will be her happiest in a quiet home, preferable where she can sit by a window like a cat, or be pet by you. She is house trained, though she has an occasional accident. Though her current owners love her dearly, there is much activity in the house and they recognize she would be happier in a quieter place.
