Three-year old Farley is a pure-bred American foxhound. At a tall and lanky 55 lbs, he is a great size for almost any home--not too big and not too small. He is a nice mixture of active energy and laid-back charm, and enjoys playdates at the dog park as well as evenings in front of the TV. He would make a wonderful running partner. He's been through obedience class and training, and Agility for the Fun of It levels 1 and 2. He's also the proud winner of the "Most Unusual Spots" from the City of Alexandria St. Patrick's Day celebration.

Farley is submissive--he needs a person or family that will handle him confidently so he doesn't have to worry about what he's supposed to do. He would be a great second dog for a more dominant, active dog who needs a play partner. He has very good manners on leash and in the house--although he can be a bit exuberant when greeting his people at the door. He will bond very quickly to the person he perceives as leader, and will draw his confidence from that person. He's a wonderful dog who deserves a wonderful home--could that be yours?
