Hank (Raven)
Male (Altered) — Date of Birth: 01/01/1970 (54 years old (Senior))
Boxer / Brittany Mix
A Forever-Home Volunteers, We adopted a wonderful 9 week old puppy from your organization back on May 6th. He was part of the Boxer/Brittany litter and had the name of Raven. He has been renamed Hank, is now a little more than 5 months old and is enjoying his life with my husband and I, his cat sister and many, many friends both human and canine. He brings such incredible joy to our lives and we’re so grateful to have him as part of the family. He adapted very well to urban life and is extremely social and well behaved. Hank was fully potty trained in just a few weeks and has rarely chewed anything he wasn’t supposed to. His likes include long walks, romps in the dog park, getting dirty, playing fetch, chasing birds, teasing the kitty, belly rubs, naps, squeaky toys, cream cheese and swimming! I attached a picture of him when he was about 3 months old (he’s a lot bigger now) after his first swim ever at Roosevelt Island. He was so cute that day—he needed a lot of encouragement from us and the other people there but once he got in he splashed around, chased some balls (losing out to the labs every time) and had a blast. Hank was just neutered yesterday and is recovering very well. He is already back to his normal happy, wiggly self!...Thank you for all the wonderful work you do—I am always recommending your rescue to prospective adopters and anyone else who asks! Warmest Regards, Jackie
