Freckles is a pure-bred Brittany Spaniel. She was originally bought for hunting, but didn’t work out. As a result, and because she was pregnant by the Cattle Dog next door, the hunter did not want to bother with her anymore. This sweet little girl has been chained outside to a box all of her life. She was given no attention and little to no food or water, which is why she is so thin. She had her pups on November 22. There were six pups (3 boys and 3 girls). She is very sweet and loves to be petted and is starved for attention. She walks well on a leash and has pretty good manners in the house and is NOT a barker. She loves other dogs too and would be good with children, but is not good with cats or small animals. She is definitely crate trained and because she is so accustomed to going to the bathroom outside, she would probably housetrain easily.
