This pup came to AFH with open sores and was very itchey and matted. When we picked it up, our hands had a reaction to something on its fur, causing our hands to turn red and swell. We learned very quickly how toxic the waters they were swimming in had become. Needless to say, this pup was washed thoroughly by its new foster family and is healing very nicely.
