Petyon is 10-years young. He was one of 8 pups born to a dog named Lassie (what else would her name be.) Fortunately for him, he was adopted by a young man who was attending college at the time. Later, they hitch hiked to Florida and bac, and then his owner joined the Navy. When his owner was deployed overseas, Peyton stayed with family. Then his owner had to leave the military as a disabled vet and Peyton travelled to Great Lakes, Illinois to see him receive his honorable discharge. Now unfortunately his owner is being hospitalized and can no longer care for him. Peyton's vet has said that he is in excellent shape and can't believe his is really 10 years old. He has never been leashed walked, but stays right by your side, and loves to ride in the car. He is housebroken and loves everyone, including other animals. He does not jump on people or bark, and is very well mannered.
