Frizzle’s Nesta is a laid back lady. She is gonna be a big girl with a big heart.

Petunia

Petunia is a pure-bred boxer landed at a shelter in North Carolina as a stray. Both of her eyes had a condition called cherry eye which required surgery to correct. The surgery was a complete success and she could not be happier. She is an awesome girl who is great with people and kid friendly. She is gentle, very sweet and playful. She is an active girl and loves playing in the backyard. If you like boxers, you will love her!

Woofies Paws In The Park, March 18th

Join us for an exciting day filled with love, joy, and furry companionship at the Woofie’s Paws in the Park Adoption Event!. It will be a paw-tastic day on May 18th, 2024, from 10am to 3pm at Wolf Trap Farm Park. All the Woofie’s locations in the northern Virginia region, are joining forces to set up this adoption event and make it truly extraordinary and AFH will be there with many of our available dogs will be in attendance. In addition there will be pet products, treats, and accessories from vendors. Enjoy a meal from the local food vendors with other pet enthusiasts.   There will be speaker who will keep you entertained with engaging activities, such as a raffle, and announcements throughout the event.

Join us at Viva Vienna Memorial Day Weekend. AFH will be having a booth on Sunday, May 26 and Monday, May 27 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. We will be raffling off a puppy pinata, giving away candy and magnets, and having puppy visits! Our goal is to find new fosters to help our organization to continue to save lives!
