Pet Mayor of Chantilly Inauguration, Fundraiser and Adoption Event

We are so excited how successful our Pet Mayor of Chantilly Election Fundraiser has been so far!! We are getting close to our $15,000, but need your help to get across the finish line. We have lots of fun ways you can help us win the race and celebrate the wonderful candidates.

Lazy Dog Dine and Donate Days Feb 13-16

Enjoy great drinks and a wonderful meal February 13-16 at the. Lazy Dog of Chantilly (14133 Newbrook Dr, Chantilly) and they will donate 15% of you total bill to AFH. Just be sure to mention it is for AFH.

Mayor Collaring and Adoption Event February 15th

We will start of our celebration with an adoption event on the enclosed patio from 12-3 at the Lazy Dog of Chantilly (14133 Newbrook Dr, Chantilly). Meet many of our dogs and pups for adoption or just some snuggles. Scheduled to appear: Sasha’s Maribel, Hudson, J Pup Jessi, Pepper Pups, Noa, Ajax, Jaxon, Bubba, Rosie’s Pups. (Check back often as this list will be updated throughout the week!)

Then at 1:00 we will have State Senator Kannan Srinivasan collar our Pet Mayor Charlie, Chief of Paw-lice Maya, and Fur Chief Gus. Our Emcee is Ty Bailey, nationally syndicated iHeartRadio host. There will be awesome raffle items to be won and Woofies will be there to offer grooming services. They will also provide pet nail trimming service for $25 with 100% of the proceeds donated to AFH!

Giving Tuesday The Gift of Forever

Please consider starting off this holiday season with the gift of love by making a Giving Tuesday donation to A Forever Home Rescue. No matter how large or small, your generosity will make the life of abandoned, abused, and orphaned dogs and pups healthy, happy, and secure.

Thanks to our generous supporters, we have been able to help pregnant moms and dogs with heartworm or needing surgery. We have rescued dogs and pups from hoarding situations or abandoned. We have helped dogs whose owners passed away or could no longer care for them. . Without your help, these sweet souls would have no chance of finding a forever homes.

Santa Paws in Came to Town!

Thank yo everyone who participated in our Santa Paws photos! We had a great time and it was so nice to meet so many cats, dogs and lovely people! We took in, between both events, we received over $1,200 for the doggies! Thank you so much everyone and we hope you have a great holiday season and a Happy New Year!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, A Forever Home will not have an adoption event November 30th so that our volunteers can spend time with their families. We hope you have a wonderful holiday with friends and family and we will see you next week for Santa Paws on December 1st and our regular Saturday adoption event on December 7th.
