Kameron

Kameron is a sweet boy who was found on the side of a road in rural Mississippi, unable to walk. He was rescued and nursed back to health. Although he still has some clumsiness in his front legs due to permanent nerve damage, it doesn’t bother him at all! He does amazingly well and loves running with all the dogs in his foster home. He can now do stairs in his foster home, is housetrained and knows to sit. Kameron just can’t wait to find his forever home!

Petunia

Petunia is a pure-bred boxer landed at a shelter in North Carolina as a stray. Both of her eyes had a condition called cherry eye which required surgery to correct. The surgery was a complete success and she could not be happier. She is an awesome girl who is great with people and kid friendly. She is gentle, very sweet and playful. She is an active girl and loves playing in the backyard. If you like boxers, you will love her!

There will be no adoption event Saturday September 30th due to Casino Night. Contracts will still be signed as scheduled. Please e-mail about any of our available dogs to learn how you can meet them outside of adoption. See you the following Saturday!

Adoption Saturday September 23rd

Come join us at our regular adoption event Saturday September 23rd from 12-3 at the Chantilly Webers Pet Supermarket (14508G Lee Rd, Chantilly, VA 20151). We have many adorable dogs and puppies to choose from. We are sure you will find the right one to add to your family! Scheduled to appear: G5 Pups, Doxie 5, Alana Drive Pups, Post Office 3, Helen’s Harry, Harvey, Amos, Honey, Sweet Tea, Petunia, Frog, Culvert Pups (This list will be updated throughout the week).

Mustang Sally has partnered with AFH to bring you a dog adoption event like no other! Meet adorable pups who are looking for their forever homes while sipping on your favorite brews. Scheduled to appear: Oliver, Alana Drive Pups, Culvert Pups, Harvey, Husky 4, Lynette’s Leena, Petunia, A Pups Mika and Colleen, Sweet Tea, Neera, Honey’s Pups, Little Girl, Fire Tower Patty – This list will be updated throughout the week.

Celebrate National Dog Day at the Commentary

Help celebrate National Dog Day at The Commentary (801 N Glebe Rd, Arlington, VA 22203) and enjoy some doggie love. A Forever Home will be bringing some of our doggies to give lots of puppy love. Enjoy drinks and great food and raise badly needed funds for AFH. Looking forward to seeing you Saturday, August 26 from 5-7 PM.
