Our foster failure, Scout, passed away at our home after brightening our lives for almost 16 years. She wasn’t the dog I was supposed to get off the transport van, but there was no way I was not taking her. Scout had two modes – sleeping and full throttle. She spent most of her life at full throttle and believed it was her mission in life to keep her dad moving, too. Frisbee obsessed. Fun police. Opener of all packages. Intelligent and loyal companion. Our house is so much quieter now – even with two dogs. We greatly miss her giant paws and big smile. She was one of a kind, and there are no words to describe how much we loved her and how much we miss her.
