Oh Maribel, I just rejoice in seeing all you’ve been doing throughout these many years encouraging the fostering and adopting of these precious dogs. I adopted “Donna” (about 3) who had had 8 puppies under an abandoned car in January cold of SOUTHWEST VA. She had sarcoptic mange and was brought up to Chantilly vet to be treated along with the pups. One pup didn’t make it but she was spayed and all medicated for the mange. I renamed her “Heidi” , she’s the best dog I’ve ever owned. She’s 12 now. Her DNA showed 21 breeds. 25% Beagle, 27% American Fox Hound, 11% Chow (she has a purple tongue and double coat mane) and the rest are lab, shepherd, etc.
